The picture illustrates a story about a hunter, named Levarsi, who was a coward yet sly. Once Levarsi went into the woods, but couldn’t bring himself to kill any animals because he was afraid of the animal voices. When he returned to his village, people started laughing at him. So Levarsi made a plan, which is depicted in the picture.
The left side of the picture illustrates how Levarsi went home and took a pet rabbit into the woods. On the right side we see that Levarsi tied the rabbit to the tree and shot at it.
The story continues with a picture we titled "Hunter (2)"
