This illustration is connected to the St Nedelya Church assault. It is important that the dogs are barking at the man wearing hat with a star on it. Since the red star was an important symbol associated with the communist ideology, we could suppose that the man personifies the whole communist party. The illustration could also be an allusion to the fact that a dog spoiled communists’ plan of assassinating the Tsar Boris III.
