This picture depicts a demonstration for the International Worker’s Day, celebrated on May 1st. We see workmen happily celebrating the day. There the flag with a sign of Soviet Union - hammer and sickle blows in the air. Meanwhile, noblemen are sad and cry, since they have lost their luxurious lifestyle. We could suppose that the illustration also alludes to the newer power dynamic created by  the Soviet Union - noblemen lost their state and workmen started dominating over them.
