The poem is dedicated to the Classical Gymnasium of Kutaisi.

The poem is about people who worked at the Classical Gymnasium of Kutaisi. The author of the poem criticizes some personal and professional characteristics of these people.

The first part of the poem is about Mikhail Glushakov, the social figure of the beginning of 20th century. Glushakov was a writer and the director of the Classical Gymnasium of Kutaisi.

The next part of the poem is about the priest, Ermaloz Kandelaki. The author criticizes Kandelaki’s personal characteristics. It is said that the man was quite an untrustworthy person.

The poem continues, mentioning several people - including Iurkevski, Gedeon Tsereteli, David Devidze, Lavrenti Tsereteli. As it can be supposed, all of them used to be teachers at the gymnasium of Kutaisi. Their work and personalities are mentioned ironically.
