The illustration is followed by a small dialogue providing context. The picture shows events that occurred during the Easter holiday. The two men depicted in the upper part of the composition are Jesus Christ and God the Father. They are talking to each other and watching people celebrate Easter.

The small parts of the composition coincide with the dialogue. Here we see people eating too much, having uncontrolled parties, having quarrels, and killing each other and poor animals, showing us that people act disgracefully and inappropriately during the Easter holiday.
