The verse under the illustration refers to Benia and Beshtia, who are humorous fictional characters of the poet Akaki Tsereteli. It reads:
Beshtia - Help me, oh, help me,
Where are you brother Benia?
How can you betray me,
In these times of sorrow?
Benia - I too, suffer just like you,
Oh my dear Beshtia,
Because of your stupidity
I got chained as well.
Devil - It’s all because of “Grey” -
Whatever you had done before;
Try and call him now,
See if he can help.
